The mission of the Board on Aging and Long Term Care is to advocate for our clients' interests, to
inform consumers of their rights and to educate the public at large about health care systems
and long term care.
Center for Independent Living (CILWW)
CILWW advocates for the full participation in society of all persons with disabilities. Their goal is to
empower individuals to exercise choices to maintain or increase their independence. The four core
services include: Advocacy, Information and Referral, Peer Support, and Independent Living Skills
Training. They have established and maintain a comprehensive listing of resources for people with
Disability Rights Wisconsin (DRW)
Disability Rights Wisconsin serves people of all ages, including people with developmental disabilities, people with mental illness, people with physical or sensory disabilities, and people with traumatic brain injury. DRW challenges systems and society to achieve positive changes in the lives of people with disabilities and their families.
The Epilepsy Foundation of Western Wisconsin is non-profit organization dedicated to improving life opportunities for people with epilepsy and their families through advocacy, support and individual and community education.
