A variety of services are provided through the Nutrition Program, including Meals on Wheels, Senior Dining, Liquid Supplements. The Nutrition Program promotes nutritional well being allowing seniors to stay happy, healthy and independent longer. Programs are funded under the federal Older Americans Act and are designed to provide meals and supportive services to people 60 years of age and older and their spouses.
Meals comply with the Dietary Guidelines For Americans and Myplate (chooesemyplate.gov) provide at least one-third of the Recommended Dietary Allowances for an older adult. The purpose of the program is to provide nutrition services that assist older individuals to live independently with improved nutrition.

The Fall Creek Area Foundation is partnering with the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Eau Claire County’s Meals on Wheels program to assist with fundraising activities. This new partnership will allow Meals on Wheels to apply for additional grants and continue serving hot noon meals to homebound seniors throughout Eau Claire County.
