Considering Moving to Assisted Living

For anyone considering moving to an assisted living facility, the Aging & Disability Resource Center offers pre-admission consultations. The goal of pre-admission consultations is to help you figure out if moving to assisted living is the best option for you. Options Counselor will help you weigh and verify the costs associated with moving to assisted living as well as provide you with information regarding possible alternative ways to meet your needs that you may not have thought of. In addition, if you are unable to afford assisted living or unsure how long you will be able to afford assisted living, Options Counselor will discuss with you publicly funded programs that may be able to help.
