This is a temporary webpage for the ongoing Multi-Jurisdictional Comprehensive Planning Project that Eau Claire County.  This temporary webpage has been developed so citizens can examine draft plans that have been completed for municipalities in the county that are participating in this project. Please click on the name of the draft plan that you are interested in reviewing below.

The Eau Claire County Board of Supervisors adopted the Eau Claire County Comprehensive Plan 2010-2030 on April 20, 2010.  There were no revisions to the document that was presented to the County Board at their public hearing. The final plan can be reviewed by clicking on the following:

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

EAU CLAIRE COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held before the Eau Claire County Committee on Planning and Development on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 7:00 p.m., in Room 2560 or County Board Room of the Eau Claire County Courthouse, 721 Oxford Avenue, Eau Claire, Wisconsin, 54703, to present the Eau Claire County Comprehensive Plan to the public and adopt a resolution recommending that the Eau Claire County Board of Supervisors adopt the plan by ordinance.  The Eau Claire County Comprehensive Plan will guide the future growth and development of the county.  The comprehensive plan contains the nine required elements required by Wisconsin State Statute 66.1001 including: 

·               Issues & Opportunities Element

·               Housing Element

·               Transportation Element

·               Utilities & Community Facilities Element 

·               Agricultural, Natural, & Cultural Resources Element

·               Economic Development Element

·               Intergovernmental Cooperation Element

·               Land Use Element

·               Implementation Element

Copies of the plan have been provided to all municipalities within Eau Claire County and all neighboring local units of government surrounding Eau Claire County.  The plan can also be viewed at the Eau Claire County website at www.co.eau-claire.wi.us.   Copies of the plan are also on file for review at the following locations:
