Citizen volunteers are important contributors to the community and county government through service on assorted boards, commissions and councils.  Citizens are encouraged to apply for appointment to these various boards.  A link to the list and description of these boards is available below.  Generally speaking, these boards are responsible for advising the County Board of Supervisors and county staff on issues, policies and programs.
