Lake Altoona water level to be raised
The Eau Claire County Parks & Forest Department announces that the Lake Altoona water level will begin to be raised to normal summer elevation beginning on Friday, April 1, 2016.
Dams repairs will be completed on March 31 which will allow returning
the lake level back to the normal summer elevation of 801.7 feet. The process
should take up to a week depending on weather conditions.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has announced that fishing will open on Lake Altoona April 9, 2016 at 12:01 a.m.
