Private Drop-Offs
Veolia Waste Services(2626 Mondovi Road, 839-9553) accepts recyclables from the public on the first and third Fridays of each month from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. In instances where one of those days is a legal holiday, their recycling center will be open the following Saturday from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. They accept all materials that the county accepts in the public drop-offs.
The recycling facility is the larger building that is located behind their main office building. Use the driveway on the left side of the office. If the overhead door is closed, ring the bell and someone will assist you. If the overhead door is open, you may enter the building and unload your recyclables, but you should check in with the staff in the recycling building office before exiting.
Waste Management(11388 30th Ave in Lake Hallie, 888-960-0008) accepts recyclables from the public Monday - Friday, from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Users must report to the office to get directions on where to take materials. They accept all materials that the county accepts in the public drop-offs.
U-Can Recycling(2318 Ridge Rd, 834-6030) is open Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. U-Can accepts most but not all of the items that the county accepts in the curbside recycling service and at recycling drop-off stations.
If you still have questions about the recycling drop-off stations, please call the Recycling Automated Answer Line at 715-839-6159 or send questions by email to anna.mccabe@co.eau-claire.wi.us.
