How & Where to Recycle Specific Materials
Aluminum Cans
Cans must be rinsed clean. Crushing them will save storage space in your home and make processing them easier. Cans may be recycled at public and private drop-offs, through curbside collection, and through several buy back centers. Check the yellow pages under "recycling centers" and "scrap metal".
Aluminum for Charity
The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Wisconsin do much of their fundraising by collecting only the tabs from cans. Each of the 35 restaurants in our area accept the tabs. More information about this fund raising idea is available at:
