VSQG Clean Sweep - Business
VSQG refers to Very Small Quantity Generators. You are a VSQG business if you generate less than 220 pounds of hazardous waste in any month and you accumulate less than 2,205 pounds of hazardous waste in storage.
The VSQG Clean Sweep program operates on a fee-for-service basis. In addition to disposal costs, there is a $20.00 registration fee. Participating companies must pre-register with BJ Michalek at WRR Environmental Services by calling 834-9624. Here are the procedures.
- You contact WRR and obtain a registration/inventory form.
- You complete the form and mail or fax it to WRR.
- WRR will provide you with a cost estimate.
- If you decide to participate, you notify WRR and arrange a delivery time. They will send you a drop-off receipt.
- You bring your pre-approved hazardous waste, the drop-off receipt and payment.
Collection dates and times for 2011 are:
May 14th and September 10th, from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
