National Rifle Range Use Agreement
The Eau Claire County Rifle Range is open to the public from May through September on Thursdays from 6 pm until dark and on the first Saturday of every month from 12 Noon to 4 pm. The range is located on Cty Trunk QQ east of the City of Eau Claire.
Parks & Forest Citizen Advisory Committee vacancies
Terms run for two years and expire the end of May. Advisory Committee tasks include input on long-range forest and park plans and to advise the Committee on Parks & Forest on various issues. A broad geographic representation within the County is being sought. Application form is available by clicking this link.
Entrance Passes available for 2013 Vehicle entrance passes are required year round at a number of Eau Claire County recreation areas including all county parks, Evergreen Ski Trail, boat landings, and from April 1 to December 1 at Tower Ridge Disc Golf course. A separate vehicle pass is required at Tower Ridge during the winter season (December 1 thru March 31) - $6/daily; $60/annual.
Vehicles parking in areas where fees are charged need to have either a daily or an annual pass. Daily Passes may be purchased onsite for $3 and annual passes onsite or at the administrative office for $25. Additional vehicle passes for multiple vehicles registered to the same household are available at a reduced rate of $10 at the administrative office. Reservation holders for clubhouses and picnic shelters at county parks are given passes for their guests attending events. Call the office for more information (715) 839-4783
Winter Combination Pass - For an additional $15 those individuals that only engage in winter activities for the period of December 1 thru March 31, combo pass allows entrance to Tower Ridge, Lowes Creek and Coon Fork Parks, as well as the Evergreen Ski Trial for the winter season only. The pass is NOT VALID April 1 thru November 30.
