About Our Facilities

Lake Eau Claire County Park is located on South Shore Drive (CTH SD) on the west end of Lake Eau Claire approximately five miles north of Augusta off Highway 27. 

The park has a clubhouse, six picnic shelters and a barbecue pit shelter all reservable and with electricity.  There is a ball diamond, two volleyball courts, numerous horseshoe pits, and playground at the park.  There are two mooring docks on the Lake Eau Claire channel with barrier-free fishing accessibility.

The clubhouse is 40' x 100' with a large fireplace and can  seat approximately 130 people with  an additional 60 people in the attached screened-in porch.  The porch can be reserved separately or in conjunction with the clubhouse.

Kitchen facilities available only with clubhouse reservations include refrigerator/freezer, two electric ranges, roasters, coffee makers, and several serving tables. There is a pass-through serving counter between the kitchen and the main clubhouse area.  The large shelter has a maximum capacity of 125 people.  The five small shelters have a minimum capacity of 50 people.  Groups larger than 200 people must reserve the clubhouse and porch.  Groups larger than 275 must reserve the clubhouse, porch and picnic shelter.

Picnic Shelter       $20/5 hours - $5/hour thereafter

BBQ Pit Shelter    $45/5 hours - $10/hour thereafter

Large Shelter        $50/5 hours - $10/hour thereafter

Porch                      $45/5 hours - $5/hour thereafter 

Clubhouse            $60/5 hours - $25/hour thereafter (Mon – Thurs) 

                                 $90/5 hours - $25/hour thereafter 

                                    (Fri – Sun & holidays)

                                 $25/ between 11:00 p.m. and midnight

Alcohol Surcharge    $25/event (clubhouse or porch)

Recreation Entrance Pass per vehicle   $3.00/daily - $25/annually

Park Reservation Policies

All vehicles must park in the parking lot.  Service drive is for unloading and loading only. There is absolutely no parking on the grass.  Free parking passes will be given to reservation guests. 

The alcohol surcharge is assessed if alcohol is served during a clubhouse or porch reservation. We strongly recommend a responsible person act as bartender.  Deliveries and pick-ups pertaining to the reservation must have prior approval by the park ranger. It is the responsibility of the reservation holder to arrange deliveries and pick-up appointments with the park ranger and vendor.  Set-up time (decorating, catering, cooking, etc.) is allowed up to two hours before the reservation start time (only with prior approval by the park ranger).   Decorations put up by your group including tape, tacks, string, must be taken down at the end of your reservation. Garbage in the clubhouse and on the surrounding park grounds must be properly disposed of in the garbage containers located in the park.  SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED INSIDE OR WITHIN 25 FEET OF THE CLUBHOUSE OR PORCH.  The use of sidewalk chalk is not allowed in the park.  

Electricity to shelters and volleyball courts is turned on for paid reservations only! Volleyballs and horseshoes are available through park personnel. 

Lake Eau Claire Park closes at 11:00 pm.   However, clubhouse reservations may run until midnight and grounds must be vacated by that time. Musical entertainment and serving of alcohol must end one-half hour before scheduled ending time. Please allow adequate time to load-up and comply with the ending time of your reservation or park closing.  Two groups may reserve facilities on the same day. Please adhere to your reserved time period to allow the second group their reserved time. 

Reservations renting entertainment equipment (inflatable slides, enclosures, etc.) must include proof of $1,000,000 worth of liability insurance from the vendor with the signed confirmation notice.   Fund raising events are allowed at the park, however, they may be subject to a higher reservation fee.  Contact the Park Ranger for more information.
