On Tuesday November 13th, 2012 - Altoona Family Restaurant hosted a local fundraiser with proceeds going to Kids 'N Cops
Eau Claire County Sheriffs and other Local law Enforcement Agencies Officer’s donated their time to help seat customers and serve beverages.  

The fundraiser was a huge success raising $6000.00 donated from Altoona Family Restaurant proceeds for the day.  Also, another $1000.00 was raised from money donations in our donation jar!  Our sincere thanks to all!

Sheriff's Department Volunteers Served 240 Spaghetti Dinners, raising $1442.00 in dinners and donations!  Thanks Again to all who made this possible.

December 2, 2012, Eau Claire County Law Enforcement Agencies Kids N Cops Program served 98 needy children from across our county and provided them with warm clothes and a toy. Not only were 98 children provided with needed items for a happier holiday season, but 98 children also had a positive experience with law enforcement.  This year we spent on an averaged $164.00 per child.

Following volunteered their time for the shop day for Kids 'NCops

41 Officers from:  ECCO, ECPD, Altoona PD, UWEC Police, WSP (many brought family member/friends to assist)
2 Clerical support staff
18 Criminal Justice Students from Globe and CVTC 

Target donated the lunch (hot dog, chips, soda, cookie, candy canes and fruit chews) along with receiving a $1,900 grant
