 The first public introduction of Bailey and Chicco took place at the Expo Center on April 12th as the Eau Claire County Sheriff's Office hosted a meet and greet as a thank you to the many sponsors who made the addition of the two K-9 units possible.
Sponsors were thanked for their help and donations that made the K9 unit possible as all funding for the units is through private donations.
K-9 teams Deputy Chad Strasburg & Bailey and Deputy Paul Zurek & Chicco then provided a demonstration of the K9 teams capabilities to assist in patrol and drug enforcement and Sheriff Cramer then swore in the two new members of the department.
