What is a Criminal Justice

Collaborating Council (CJCC)?

The issues the United States faces in the 21st Century are very multidimensional. To address them efficiently and effectively requires strategic planning and multidisciplinary approaches. Nowhere is this more evident than in our country’s Criminal Justice System: One in every thirty one adults is under some type of correctional control and in twenty years, U.S. correctional costs have risen 315%. The belief is “we can do better.”
