Special Services

In addition to the traditional services provided by the Field and Security Services Divisions, the Sheriff’s Office also coordinates a variety of specialized programs. 

Examples include the Citizens Academy, Community-Oriented Policing initiatives, Crash Reconstruction, Honor Guard, Prescription Drug Disposal, Recreational Patrol and  the services of a Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Regional Team.
