Citizen Service

Citizen volunteers are important contributors to the community and county government through service on various boards, commissions and councils. Citizens are encouraged to apply for appointment to these various boards.  A link to the list and description of these boards is available in the left column of this page. Generally speaking, these boards are responsible for advising the County Board of Supervisors and county staff on issues, policies and programs.

Land Stewardship Sub Committee - Ongoing until filled.  Term will run through March 2021; for more information on the LSSC, please click here

Local Emergency Planning Committee - Ongoing until filled (2 vacancies), Term expires April 2022 (should be representative of Broadcast/Media).  Term expires April 2021 (should be a member of Law Enforcement, civil defense, firefighting, first aid, health, transportation, hospitals, or environmental group)

Nutrition Advisory CommitteeOngoing until filled. Term expires April 2023.
